Martins Industries Introduces New Version of Tire Rider Tuff
Martins Industries has announced the release of the new and improved version of its Tire Rider Tuff tire cart.
The product was designed by the company’s research and development team. The new version has eliminated the need to change the gas cylinder of the tire cart. As explained by the company, this piece of mechanism helps with opening and closing the clamps in order to lift up the tires. In the new version, a steel spring mechanism has been added to the equipment instead of the gas cylinder. According to Martins Industries, the new mechanism is much more solid and durable. The company also offers this with a lifetime warranty.
When creating the latest version of the tire cart, Martins Industries also focussed on making the product stronger. As stated by the company, the new tire cart’s carrying capacity has been increased from 109 kg to 250 kg. Also included in the new improvements is the reduction in the cart’s weight from 48 kg to 36 kg.
Martins Industries has conducted tests of the Tire Rider Tuff which has produced the following results:
- Mechanism tests (for breaking point): 756,000 opening cycles on the clamps, representing three and a half years of use at 100 strokes per day for 240 business days.
- Weight tests: 201,600 back and forth cycles with a load of 250 kg.
“Our painstaking, tireless work has paid off. The test results have exceeded our expectations. We are very pleased to offer our customers the ideal version of what a tire cart should be,” says Ian Fournel, Quality Control and Technical Services at Martins Industries.
The gas cylinder tire cart was one of the first products to be sold by Martins Industries. The company had released the product in new colours two years ago in order to make it easily identifiable.
