BASF recently announced that Jaguar Land Rover’s (JLR) European headquarters has entered into a partnership with the company’s refinish brands—Glasurit and R-M.

According to BASF, JLR’s choice of Glasurit and R-M was based on the support provided by the brands throughout Europe. The auto manufacturer has also globally approved the BASF brands’ paint and non-paint products that will enable body shops to do damage repair.

As per the terms of this partnership, the BASF brands will provide refinish products and colour matching systems in the capacity of being JLR’s sole preferred paint partners. Additionally, through service providers Outsorc and Auto Skills International, Glasurit and R-M will provide dedicated program managers in order to create and implement the automaker’s global Body & Paint Program in Europe. BASF states that its Advanced Business Solutions (ABS) portfolio also impressed JLR, especially due to the comprehensive training and tools for body shop and business development offered by the company.
