The 15th Annual AIA Manitoba Sun Fund for Kids Charity Golf Tournament took place in Shilo, Manitoba on June 13.

More than 67 golfers enjoyed a great game and at the same time raised $6,545.00 to help send less fortunate children to camp this summer.

In addition to that amount, another $1,305.00 was also raised by money donated back by the 50/50 winner plus the Auto Parts Central staff Christmas Party fund-raising brought the total tournament total to $7,850.00.

Then an additional $$1,500.00 cheque was presented by the High Five for Kids Foundation and so the real grand total for the event was $9,350.00! In 15 years, the Sun Fund for Kids Charity Golf Tournament has contributed the amount of $107,350.00 to the Westman Sun Fun for Kids and has truly helped send over 1,000 kids to camp!

Congratulations to Brent Karr of Bestbuy Distributors and his team at AIA Manitoba for organizing this amazing event and helping to raise money for a great cause!
