Northwood University’s MBA for the Aftermarket Currently Accepting Students

Northwood University recently announced that enrollment for its Automotive Aftermarket Executive MBA program is currently underway.

This MBA program, which is scheduled to begin on August 26, was designed to cater to a wide range of professionals working for aftermarket businesses that offer products and services for light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles.

Besides manufacturing, retail distribution, wholesale distribution, service and repair, the program takes into consideration the support organizations for the aftermarket, such as associations, technology, training and sales.

“In this dynamic and fast-paced industry, continuous learning is more important than ever. This program combines a comprehensive business education with specific needs of industry professionals. I continue to draw on my learnings from this program to make an impact with customers, employees and leaders in the industry,” notes Richard Guirlinger who is an alumnus of the program. Guirlinger is a 40-plus year veteran of the industry as well as an executive.

“Building on Northwood’s long-standing history with the aftermarket industry, this program offers students a results-oriented business curriculum that is led by academically and professionally qualified faculty with real-world industry experience,” said Dr. Lisa Fairbairn, Assistant Vice President and Dean of the Richard DeVos Graduate School of Management.

The program includes a curriculum that is customized to the requirements of the aftermarket industry. Besides this, it also focuses on residencies for enhanced learning and networking opportunities and includes a capstone project that may have a substantial impact financially.
