CARQUEST Canada Charitable Golf Tournament

CARQUESTSeptember 5th saw 130 golfers head to the links at Springfield Golf and Country Club in Guelph, ON. It was CARQUEST Canada’s sixth annual Golf Tournament in support of the Charitable Foundation of CARQUEST and WorldPac.

Golfers were given a chance to “Beat the Boss” as they teed off against CARQUEST CANADA President and CEO, Steve Gushie. Prizes were also awarded for closest to the pin, and the longest drive (though the Hole-in-One prize remained unclaimed yet again!).

After the day of golf, the players headed for dinner at the club and the popular Silent Auction which raised even more funds for the Foundation. As a result, more than $20,000 was raised for the charitable Foundation of CARQUEST and WorldPac, bringing their six-year total to over $120,000. These monies have gone directly to support educational and non-profit projects and programs in communities across Canada.

Well done, everyone!
