AutoCareerStart Teams Up With Canada Career Month in November
During November, AutoCareerStart.com has teamed up with Canada Career Month to highlight a wide range of career opportunities that exist within Canada’s new car dealerships.
With more than 3,000 new car and truck retail locations nationwide, employing around 150,000 people, the opportunities for people are considerable and expected to continue growing. During November, AutoCareerStart and Canada Career Month will be hosting events across Canada that incorporate the resources and tactics for navigating the employment landscape and building fulfilling, rewarding careers.
Canada Career Month is encouraging people across the country to explore how their skills fit in the labour market and to identify the skills they need to acquire for successful, and meaningful careers.
“Over the next 12 months, we know that 99 percent of auto dealers anticipate hiring new workers,” said John White, President of the Canadian Automobile Dealers Association (CADA)
“AutoCareerStart.com is an important connection that highlights the pathways to employment in a variety of roles in the automotive retail sector. We are very glad to have this opportunity to partner with career leaders from across Canada to promote the initiative.”
Currently, the Canadian automotive retail sector is seen as showing significant growth, with many new career opportunities available through full-time positions in areas ranging from sales, to marketing, to IT, parts, service, even management.
