Kijiji Names New National Head, Automotive Sales
Kijiji Canada, part of the eBay Classifieds Group, has announced the appointment of Darryl Hilton to the position of National Head of Automotive Sales.
Hilton joins the Kijiji team with an extensive background in the automotive industry, with 20 years’ experience on both the supplier and retail sides.
He most recently held the position of National Manager of Pre-owned and Fleet at INFINITI Canada, where he played an integral role in leading the development and implementation strategy to launch the new Certified INFINITI program. Additionally, in January 2018, Hilton completed an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, furthering his business-savvy capabilities and insights. His expertise lies in both premium and mainstream brands—specializing in management of pre-owned programs—making him a natural fit for this position on the Kijiji Autos team.
As National Head of Automotive Sales, Hilton will be instrumental in both the internal and external growth of the Kijiji Autos team nationally. Not only will he be leading the development of the well-established and rapidly expanding sales team—during a pivotal strategic year for the organization—but he will also be a trusted partner to dealers, supporting their business growth across Canada. He will achieve this by helping dealers gain market exposure, generate high-quality leads and deliver on strong returns on investments, which in turn will further strengthen Kijiji’s position and overall value to dealers in the Canada automotive marketplace.
