Ontario Dealer Day: Buying Local

Ontario Dealer Day: Buying LocalAn automotive retail focused trade show conceived by Canadians, for Canadians.

Jointly hosted by dealer buying group Co-Auto and the Trillium Automobile Dealers Association (TADA), Ontario Dealer Day, is a one-day trade show that provides dealers and their staff the opportunity to conduct business with vendors in their local marketplace.

Dealer Day was designed to bring the concept of a a major auto retailing trade show to Canadian dealers’ back yards instead of having to travel south to events in the U.S. As a result, exhibitors cover the entire spectrum of automotive retail from CRM and DMS software providers, to F&I products, shop tools, collision products, tires, hoists and digital marketing services.

Todd Bourgon, Executive Director, TADA, said that with over 800 attendees registered for the event, the second annual Ontario Dealer Day witnessed a significant surge in numbers over the previous year. Co-Auto President and CEO Tom Langton acknowledged that the event has struck a chord with dealers and vendors in Ontario, providing both parties with a unique opportunity to get together in their own backyard and finding ways to develop relationships and improve business at a local level. Here’s a look at some of the highlights from the 2015 event.
