Annual Christmas Luncheon attracts over 400 auto industry professionals.

The Trillium Automobile Dealers Association (TADA) hosted its annual year-end party on Dec. 7th in Vaughan, Ontario. Upwards of 400 registered guests enjoyed an afternoon of networking, entertainment, and great food.

This year, organizers changed things up a bit, giving the perennial party a different flavour. Instead of a traditional sit-down meal, guests were invited to mingle and enjoy the various activities while enjoying a buffet-style luncheon.

These activities included a charity casino, a silent auction, and a virtual reality experience. Las Vegas-style showgirls posed with guests while handing out desserts, and the TADA, along with very generous sponsors, gave away numerous prizes and gifts.

Amongst the many giveaways was an all-inclusive trip for two to Puerto Vallarta, as well as an all-inclusive trip to Cuba, and a trip to the President’s Conference in Cap Cana in April.

The TADA also gave away an autographed Wendel Clark jersey, and the first five people who registered for the TADA’s annual ACE Conference had their first night’s hotel accommodations paid for.

The eye candy in the room was a $235,000 Acura NSX, donated by the TADA Foundation in cooperation with Honda Canada. The sale of raffle tickets for the supercar officially kicked off during the Luncheon, with the draw for the vehicle scheduled to take place in February, 2019 during the Canadian International AutShow in Toronto. All proceeds from the draw will go to Prostate Cancer Canada.

The silent auction was new this year, with all proceeds going to the TADA Foundation, which supports a number of charities.
