Bridgestone Adds Two Tires to the EPA’s SmartWay Program

Bridgestone has gained the honour of seeing two of its truck tires added to the list of EPA SmartWay Transport Partnership-certified products. Indeed, the Bridgestone R260F and R250F all-position radial commercial tires join the seven other Bridgestone products already recognized as SmartWay products. To be certified for the SmartWay program, a tire must achieve at least 3% better fuel economy than the average “best-selling” new tire in its category. The R260F and R250F are also California Air Resources Board (CARB) compliant. (ED)
