New Tools Are Tops At SEMA

Las Vegas, Nevada – November 3-6, 2009 – The weakened economy took its toll on the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show, which was about 25 percent smaller this year. Even so, this is still the place to see what’s new and exciting, and there were many innovative products on display. Very little was frivolous, as was popular in previous years; with only so much money going around, exhibitors were offering increased productivity at the shop level, and serious consumer interest at the counter level. It was all about saving money, making money, and a high level of customer retention, no matter what was being offered. (JM) [View photos]
