Wednesday, September 01, 2010 NASTF General Meeting in Las Vegas
 The National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF) will hold the Fall General Meeting on October 10, 2010 at 1:30 pm in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Room South Pacific C. This year’s Fall meeting features the usual committee updates, along with a panel discussion titled Maximizing the Value of the SDRM.
The Secure Data Release Model (SDRM) is currently used to access secure data such as key codes and pin codes. In addition, there will be a special report on progress by the Canadian CASIS group to establish a similar process of ensuring information availability in Canada.
The panel discussion will consist of Ivan Blackman from the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB); Rene Young and John Norris from the National Automotive Trades Association in Canada, and Bob Stewart representing General Motors. Additional panelists will be named at a later date.
