General Parts Inc. President and CEO Temple Sloan III announced that Richard McCook has been named executive vice president and CFO, effective February 1. He will report directly to Sloan and serve on the GPI Executive Committee.
“Richard comes to General Parts International Inc. with more than 34 years experience in operational improvements, renegotiations, developing pricing and planning strategy and developing budgets,” Sloan said. “He will make a great addition to the GPI team.”
Prior to joining GPI, McCook worked as executive vice president and CFO for U.S. Oncology in Houston, Texas, where he was responsible for leading the company effort to focus more on operational improvements than solely on sales, technology advancements, and transactions. (SB)
