[Full story]   PICTORIAL                    Presented by         The Chevrolet Suburban is 75 years old       Back in 1937, Chevrolet introduced what is now believed to be the first ever SUV, the Chevrolet pick-up based Suburban Carryall. The first ever Suburban could carry eight people or cargo, as needed. What’s important to remember is that the Suburban Carryall was one of the first ever, if not THE first all-steel wagon body (and not made of wood). And even more important is the fact that the Suburban is still with us 75 years after.
