PPG Repaint Reporter Celebrates 75 Years of Publishing

PPG is celebrating the 75th anniversary of the PPG Repaint Reporter, making it one of the industry’s longest-running publications. The magazine is circulated to PPG Automotive Refinish distributors and users throughout North America. The Repaint Reporter was first published in 1936, when the introduction of the spray gun and alkyd enamels were among the significant advancements in paint application. As the repair of auto finishes took on greater importance and the desire for technical information grew, the Repaint Reporter filled that need. From its simple beginnings, the Repaint Reporter has evolved to expand its content and coverage to all aspects of refinish repair as well as the custom colour and commercial coatings segments of the industry.
