I-CAR Introduces New Training Course on Advanced Material Damage Analysis

I-CAR has introduced a new classroom training course, Advanced Material Damage Analysis (DAM08). Professionals throughout North America will have the opportunity to learn the latest information about damage analysis for advanced materials, collision energy management, and special considerations for these materials, which can lead to the most educated repair vs. replace decisions. “As more advanced materials are used in today’s vehicles, identification of those materials becomes even more important to a complete and safe repair,” said Jeff Peevy, I-CAR director of Field Operations “This class will be valuable to anyone writing estimates and building repair plans on newer vehicles.” To meet industry demand, nearly 200 classes have been scheduled throughout North America and additional courses are being added daily.
