Diamond Standard Parts Pursues Certification for Collision Safety Parts

NSF International, an independent, not-for-profit organization that helps protect consumers by certifying products and writing standards for food, water, dietary supplements, and consumer goods, has announced the launch of the NSF Automotive Parts Certification Program. The program will address concerns regarding consumer safety by verifying both the quality and performance of aftermarket auto parts via testing and inspections. The NSF Automotive Parts Certification Program offers independent, third-party certification of steel bumpers, step bumpers, absorbers, reinforcement bars, and brackets to ensure that high-quality aftermarket safety parts are available. Diamond Standard Brand Parts manufactured by Reflexxion Automotive and Production Bumper Stamping and distributed in Canada by Keystone Automotive Industries, a subsidiary of LKQ Corporation, is the first company to participate in the program.
