Friday, January 29, 2010 And Now—a Daytona Replica from a Challenger
We all saw the few Pontiac Trans Am replicas built on the body of the latest Chevrolet Camaro. Well now, it’s the turn of the incredible winged Dodge Daytona of the late sixties to make a comeback. This time, thank to Madison Heights, Michigan’s Heide Performance Products (HPP), this iconic automobile could revive in the body of the latest Challenger. HPP has designed and created a front end, a new hood and a huge wing to retrofit the Challenger. The prototype’s suspension was lowered 3.5 inches and HPP boosted the 5,7 L HEMI V8 with a supercharger in order to reach an estimated 600 hp. (ED)
