AIA Canada and I-CAR Proceed with Transition

I-CAR and AIA Canada announced that they have executed a Memorandum of Understanding allowing the two organizations to proceed with the development of a Licensing Agreement under which the management of the delivery of I-CAR products and services in Canada will be undertaken by AIA Canada. The announcement was made by John Edelen, president and CEO of I-CAR at the January 23 Canadian Collision Industry Forum (CCIF) meeting in Toronto. Marc Brazeau, president of AIA Canada addressed the CCIF attendees, ensuring them an effective, efficient and “seamless” transition of I-CAR’s activities to AIA Canada, as well as a more complete training experience for the industry in both of Canada’s official languages. Until the transition is completed, I-CAR will continue to provide training opportunities in Canada under its current operating practices. (LB)
