Based on the argument that he needs to take care of his clients and sell more cars, Sebastian Pitruzzello, co-owner of Des Sources Dodge Chrysler in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, thinks that opening on Saturdays is worth the risk of getting kicked out of the provincial car dealership association, the CCAQ.
His point got proven last weekend when his concession opened for the first time and sold four cars without any previous advertising.
Moreover, other car dealerships open on Saturdays in the area and Des Sources Dodge Chrysler didn’t want to lose any more sales to their competitors.
In this era of having everything at your fingertips with stores open everyday of the week, it does make sense that car dealerships would want to break their 20 year old five days schedule so they can adapt to people’s current lifestyle.
